Research

At the core of our research are spatial aspects of economic activity and innovation based transition processes. We especially focus on issues related to the spatial configuration of processes of innovation and sustainability transitions, disparities in regional development as well as regional policies and planning. The research activities of the research group are theory-led, evidence-based and policy relevant. They are organised around the following two fields:
